1. Welcome and Agreement

Thank you for choosing Mairaj Ul Quran. These Terms and Conditions explain the rules for using our website at https://mairajulquran.com/ and for enrolling in our online Quran classes. By visiting our website, booking a trial or enrolling in a course, you agree to these terms. If you are enrolling a child, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian and accept these terms on their behalf.

Please read them carefully. If anything is unclear, ask us before you enrol.

2. Our Services

Mairaj Ul Quran provides online Quran education, which may include Noorani Qaida, Quran reading (Nazra), Tajweed, memorisation (Hifz), Quran translation and understanding, and Islamic studies. Classes are usually held one to one or in small groups through video calling platforms. Course details, schedules and fees are shared when you enrol and may be updated from time to time.

3. Free Trial Classes

We may offer a free trial class so you can meet your teacher and see whether our approach suits you. A trial class is a chance to assess our service and carries no obligation to continue. We may limit trials to one per student.

4. Enrolment and Eligibility

Our classes are open to students of all ages and levels. Students under 18 must have a parent or guardian’s consent to enrol. You agree to give us accurate and complete information when you register and to keep it up to date.

5. Technical Requirements

Online learning works best with a reliable internet connection, a working device with a camera and microphone, and a quiet space. You are responsible for your own equipment and internet access. We cannot be held responsible for missed or shortened classes caused by problems on the student’s side.

6. Fees and Payment

Fees for each course are shared with you before you enrol. Unless agreed otherwise, fees are due in advance for each billing period, usually monthly. We accept the payment methods shown on our website or provided to you directly. All prices are in [currency, e.g. AUD] unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any bank or transfer charges. If a payment is late, we may pause classes until the balance is cleared. We may change our fees with reasonable notice, and any change will not affect a billing period you have already paid for.

7. Class Schedule, Attendance and Rescheduling

Classes take place at the times agreed between you and your teacher. To help your child or yourself make steady progress, please arrive on time and prepared.

If you need to cancel or reschedule a class, please give us at least [12 or 24] hours’ notice. Classes cancelled with enough notice can be rescheduled at no cost. Classes missed without notice, or cancelled too late, may be counted as delivered and will not be refunded or made up. If we need to cancel a class, for example because the teacher is unwell, we will offer a replacement class or a credit. If a student is more than [15] minutes late without telling us, we may treat the class as missed.

8. Refunds

We want you to be happy with your classes. If you are not satisfied, please speak to us early so we can fix the problem. If you decide to stop, you may request a refund for unused classes in a paid period by contacting us in writing. Classes already delivered, and classes missed without proper notice, are not refundable. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within a reasonable time. Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Expected Conduct

We ask for respect and good manners from everyone, in keeping with the spirit of learning the Quran. Students, parents and guardians agree to treat teachers and staff politely, to join classes in appropriate dress and surroundings, and not to disrupt lessons. Parents are welcome to observe classes. We may suspend or end a student’s enrolment if behaviour is abusive, inappropriate or harmful, and in that case we may not be able to offer a refund for the remaining classes.

10. Recording and Sharing of Classes

You must not record, photograph, copy or share any class, video or teaching material without our written permission. Where we record classes ourselves, we do so only for purposes explained in our Privacy Policy.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and in our classes, including text, lesson plans, worksheets, logos, designs and course materials, belongs to Mairaj Ul Quran or is used with permission. You may use it for your own personal learning. You may not copy, sell, distribute or republish it without our written consent. The Quran itself, of course, belongs to all of humanity and nothing here limits your right to learn and share it.

12. Learning Outcomes

Every student learns at a different pace. Progress depends on many things, including practice at home, consistency, age and prior experience. Our teachers will do their very best to support you, but we cannot guarantee specific results or completion dates, such as finishing the Quran or memorising a set number of Surahs by a certain time.

13. Privacy

We respect your privacy and handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

14. Website Use

You agree to use our website lawfully and not to attempt to damage it, interfere with its operation, gain unauthorised access, or use it to send spam or harmful content. We do our best to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions. Links to other websites are provided for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content.

15. Limitation of Liability

We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, Mairaj Ul Quran is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by events outside our control, such as internet outages, power failures or the failure of third party platforms. Our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the fees you paid for the affected classes. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Ending Your Enrolment

You may stop classes at any time by giving us [7 or 14] days’ written notice. We may also end or suspend your enrolment if you breach these terms, fail to pay fees or if we are no longer able to provide the course. Where we end an enrolment for reasons other than your conduct, we will refund any fees paid for classes not delivered.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, let you know by email or a notice on the website. Continuing to use our services after changes means you accept the updated terms.

18. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of [State or Territory], Australia. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of that location. We would always prefer to sort out any concern by talking with you first.
